CHANGE WE CAN AND CHANGE WE MUST

The young boy had done his very best

Living up to the way his parents wanted him, was a test

To his friends at school, he wore his mask

To be one of them was itself a task

For he had no interest in the many ego trips

Defending an honour not worth chocolate chip

He watched how people debated with their ego

Is that the way they wanted him to go?

Inflated egos, but why give them air?

Lost for words and so they'd swear

He saw qualities in others, no one else could see

Even if they abused him he was beyond their reality

He smiled but didn't respond

His mind wasn't like a stagnant pond

He watched how others gave so much advice

Making their life meaningful in their attempt to be wise

He watched how others squabbled over a trivial thing

Making a mountain of everything

The human persona so frail and old

Following one another, filling each other with mould

Who occupied their mind, with a great fear of silence

Stillness was his gift that had no violence

His mind not like a traffic jam

Flowed like a river of goodness that had just burst its dam

Though others saw him as just a boy

His past life was spent training, to be pure joy

He'd changed his vision, attitude and nature

Changed bad habits of animalistic nature

His high vibrations were of a different energy

That didn't see the way that others would see

And though they were high vibrations of a supreme state

He didn't look down on others nor hold any hate

His eternal pure soul he'd earned from his past

Cleaning his mind had been his only task

And though he had forgotten his past training

Love and only love was now reining

As he grew he decided there was no need to fit in

Developing an intellect that was not a dustbin

As he grew up his example became a leader

People looked at themselves becoming greedier

For his content mind didn't allow him retail therapy

To waste money senselessly would ruin his energy

Respect for others, he easily gave to all

No one could make him ever feel small

We're here to evolve into deities

Divine people who have no frailties

It's all there is and all that's real

The weaknesses in man made these bodies ill

It's carried in the soul life to life

Stays with them like twisted knife

Where matter will no longer be serving him

He chose vices over virtues, on many a whim

"Live now" man cried out " for tomorrow we die

But in his next life he'll carries on the same for it was all a lie
